As fans continue to wait for word of his first proper album, Chance the Rapper has shared his latest string of studio collaborations (via NME), including Jessie Ware, James Blake, Wyclef Jean, Boys Noize and J Cole. None of which seem to be set in stone for the MC’s own record.
Speaking to DJ Semtrex on his BBC Radio 1Xtra show, Chance explained his loose approach to recording by saying, “It’s not about how you release it; it’s about making sure it’s dope content. I’m soaking in their energy. These are seasoned, awesome eclectic artists that know a lot that I don’t know. Working with them and getting to see their process is making me a lot better.”
now that chance finally released his verse on “worst guys”, maybe he can hurry up and finish the rest of our EP.
