According to the rumor mill over at Deadline, Steven Van Zandt has asked Bruce Springsteen to appear in the third season of his Netflix show Lilyhammer. The E Street Band leader will reportedly play the owner of a morgue as part of an episode that was shot in New York. While Springsteen appeared as himself in the film adaptation of the Nick Hornby book High Fidelity, he’s never acted as someone else before.

Also added to the Lilyhammer cast in more of a recurring role was Van Zandt’s Sopranos co-star Tony Sirico. The show could use the boost; unlike other breakout hits like Orange is the New Black and House of Cards, Lilyhammer has received mixed reviews from critics and Netflix viewers.
