According to an affidavit obtained by Consequence of Sound, Black Flag guitarist/SST founder Greg Ginn is currently facing child abuse allegations made by his ex-wife Marina. Her Emergency Motion to Modify the Parent-Child Relationship was filed in Williamson County Texas District Court on October 10, citing growing concern over the health and welfare of the former couple’s two daughters, 10-year-old Karis and 7-year-old Isadora.

“Isadora Ginn and Karis Ginn live with my ex-husband in an industrial building that also serves as a place where he conducts business and his band rehearses,” Marina writes. “They have complained that his behavior has recently grown increasingly erratic, that he is routinely denying them food and threatening them, that he is increasingly abusing alcohol and drugs in front of them, and that they have witnessed confrontations and physical violence at the building where they live.

She continues, “I am extremely concerned about the effect that the stress and abuse is having on my daughters, and feel that without immediate intervention they will suffer serious harm. Please grant me an emergency temporary orders hearing so my daughters don’t have to live in fear.”
