Over the past year, Björk has done everything but work on a new album, from lending her singular vocals to Death Grips to landing a multimedia retrospective at New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Now the singer is bookending the support cycle for her last record (2011′s Biophilia) with a concert film simply called Biophilia: Live. Screening at hundreds of international theaters over the next couple months, the movie was directed by Nick Fenton and Peter Strickland, who combined live clips with animation and nature footage that reinforces the record’s thematic relationship between music and “natural phenomena — atomic, cellular and cosmic.”
