Drake and Kanye West have just rapped together on a track for the first time since, literally, “Forever.” And yet the bars that everybody is talking about from Big Sean‘s new song “Blessings” belong to — could it be? — Big Sean. The turnabout is especially notable given that it was Big Sean who previously let Kendrick Lamar crown himself rap’s new ruler on Big Sean’s “Control.” I feel like I keep saying “Big Sean.” Maybe we’re about to get used to all saying Big Sean’s name? I’m just saying! “Fuck a vacay / I feel better at work.” OK, OK, so Drake and West are beasts on this murky trunk-rattler, too, rapping about giving away Grammys and, y’know, starting Montessori schools. “Control” or no “Control,” the Detroit-based ‘Ye protégé’s Dark Sky Paradise arrives on February 24.

Listen to “Blessings” below, and scroll down to hear Big Sean (yup!) more than hold his own with A$AP Ferg in the video for Meek Mill’s “B Boy.”
