He didn’t share too many tidbits about OutKast’s first couple reunion dates at Coachella (“We just jumped into the deep end of the pool like, ‘Let’s do it!’”), but Big Boi did reveal some details about a few upcoming records in a Hollywood Reporter interview over the weekend. First up: a new solo album he hopes to drop a few singles from before the end of the year.

“I’ve got a lot of music,” he explained, “but it ain’t done until you turn it in. We’re about to do 40-something more concerts, so [I’ll be] recording on the road and traveling… Whether the project is done or not just depends on how wild this road gets.”

The rapper also has tentative releases with Phantogram (a collaborative EP that may turn into a full-on album, entitled Big Gram) and Modest Mouse on tap, stemming from sessions at Big Boi’s Stankonia studio in Atlanta.

“We’ve got these songs they’ve been sitting on forever,” the MC said of the Modest Mouse recordings. “I saw [frontman Isaac Brock] a couple months ago and they’re working on some additions to what we did. I don’t know. It’s a crazy camp over there. It’s coming. Talk to him! He’s the boss.”
