If the media blitz around Random Access Memories — including countless feature stories, critical theories and unprompted “Get Lucky” plays — wasn’t enough to satisfy your Daft Punk needs, BBC Worldwide have now announced an hour-long documentary produced in partnership with France’s Canal+ Group. According to a press release, “viewers will get an insight into the artistic world of Daft Punk,” as written by director Hervé Martin Delpierre and co-writer Marina Rozenman.

“We are proud to announce our first commission with Canal+ Group on such an original and creative film,” said Jean Louis Blot, the director of BBC Worldwide’s French division. “BBC Worldwide France stands as a major French producer of documentaries with stunning production values and universal appeal.”

Let’s just hope they include subtitles, and the guys say more than they did in their own self-produced Electroma film…
