This year’s American Music Awards aired last night. As, ahem, previously reported, One Direction won for Artist of the Year, and you can scroll down to see the rest of the winners, determined by a popular vote. Also as previously reported, Waka Flocka Flame gave quite the performance in a Pine Brothers throat drop ad, but he wasn’t the night’s only musical guest. Below, watch Taylor Swift’s “crazy” live TV debut of 1989‘s “Blank Space,” Nicki Minaj’s performance of new song “Bed of Lies” with Skylar Grey, Lorde’s live TV debut of Hunger Games song “Yellow Flicker Beat,” Charli XCX’s medley of her upcoming Sucker album’s “Boom Clap” and “Break the Rules,” Mary J. Blige’s “Whole Damn Year,” Sam Smith and A$AP Rocky’s collaboration on “I’m Not the Only One” and Ariana Grande’s duet with the weekend on “Love Me Harder.” The less said about Lil Wayne’s AMA-debuted song with Christina Milian, “Start a Fire” (not a Gwen Stefani cover), the better.
