Blood Sister, a noise-pop project from San Francisco via Brooklyn, releases it’s greasily melodic, blown-out EP on Bloodmoss Records today. The guitar rip across the surface of the songs like radioactive Crayola streaks, and somewhere far beneath the scribble, pop melodies move. The EP feels like a Pixies album played through a wall at top volume, and the distance and disorientation dredges up something fresh and strange in a familiar template.
